A safari with Ol Moran brings you close to Kenya’s extraordinary wildlife and to the people who live alongside it and make this country magical.
Our giving back is concrete: real work, in places you can visit and understand. From supporting local employment and education to getting involved in community projects that move forward with every safari, your journey directly contributes to something bigger.
See the difference your travel makes, meet the people behind it and take part.
From the very first day, we knew we wanted to be part of its story.
Ilmotiok Primary School serves 390 children from the surrounding communities of Laikipia. When we first stepped through its gates, we saw something simple but powerful: dedicated teachers, curious children and a community determined to give them a better future.
The school has the foundations, but many of the things we take for granted are still missing. There is no running water, proper kitchen, secure fencing or electricity. Clean water is limited, and even basic supplies such as books, paper and stationery are not always available.
We are taking the work step by step: responding to immediate needs while planning for more ambitious improvements. Each step makes school a better place to learn today and create more possibilities for the years ahead.
We don’t want to simply donate and walk away.
We want to build a lasting relationship, listen to what the school needs and work with the community on this project over time.
Starting with what children need now: books, stationery, sanitary products and food.
A clean and proper kitchen where nutritious meals can be prepared safely and enjoyed by the children.
Access to clean water and electricity, improving everyday conditions for learning, hygiene and health.
Looking ahead to secure fencing, science laboratories and further improvements to the school’s facilities.
Today, the classrooms are bare and worn: cracked floors, old desks and few books to go around.
Part of every safari helps change that, one classroom at a time.

To redefine safari travel as a force that supports wildlife and the communities who protect it, built on deep, respectful connections.
